Bread' with Jeff Lang in Melbourne while she was there, Jodi brings
The Road Testing
Tour 09 to Sydney, allowing her audience to vote on which songs will
make the album. Still writing madly in between these well-spaced shows,
Jodi
has ear-marked a diverse bunch of cities and towns for this tour, including
Melbourne,
Lismore, Sydney, Ceduna, Candelo, New York and Montreal… The Basement
show will be filmed and will feature two intimate sets by the dynamic
Ms Martin, the first at 8:30pm showcasing her early material, and the
second
at 9:30pm unveiling the songs which are contesting for the new record.

beautiful collaboration, and Jodi Martin is bringing her Road Testing Tour
to Melbourne, previewing a bunch of amazing songs from her upcoming new album,

Hi on this sunny Tuesday afternoon (I LOVE Australian winters!)
I have been wanting to thank everyone who made last Sunday's gig in Sydney so special. I had so much fun, and felt so relaxed... it was like we were in the loungeroom. I had always wanted to receive a phone call on stage, and as Evan my drummer was scheduled to arrive in the set break, I had the feeling he might call! So I left my phone on, and sure enough he did... it was a hilarious on-stage phone conversation, and a wild gig, in so many ways!
It was so good to see everyone again, and get feedback on the new songs that I have been writing in Canada...
For anyone who missed out, I am playing another show this Thursday at the Harp Hotel with Bob Malone from the US and Sydney's legendary Jim Conway.
